College and Educational Scholarships

CRS’s first annual high school graduation scholarships were awarded May 19, 2011 to commemorate the students’ achievements. Some 22 students received awards that day.  Many did not speak English or had little education when they first arrived in San Antonio as legally resettled refugees. Since that time, many more have been awarded to graduating high school seniors on an annual basis.

Additionally, as funds have permitted, limited scholarships have been awarded to adult learners for college, graduate school or technical training/certifications.
